I am so sorry I didn’t post yesterday. I have been so exhausted.
Mama and I went to sit in the sun and I got the worst sun burn. I’m trying to get a tan before the summer but I’m afraid it won’t work. I have the worst tan lines from band camp where my socks were.
I absolutely love band. I play the B flat clarinet during marching season and bass clarinet during concert season. I’m also working on learning the oboe. Mama used to play it and I want to be just like her. She’s my best friend.
I also want to be an Azalea Trail Maid. I’ll post a picture of it later. You get to wear a big, puffy, antebellum-styled dress and basically be the ambassadors of the city. She was one as well; she was a peach. The choices are blue, peach, mint, purple, and yellow. Each color represents the color of spring. My top three choices are peach (of course), green, then blue. I got to try on her dress as well. She was very tiny when she was a senior, which is when one can be a trail maid, so I could barely fit in it. There can only be 50 trail maid with ten groups of five. Each group has one blue, one peach, one mint, one purple, and one yellow. Then there is the queen. She is pink. To be honest, I don’t want to the queen. I want to be a peach. If I was picked for queen (which will most likely not happen) then I’d ask to switch to peach.
I’m still writing those letters to Isaac. I hope he doesn’t find them annoying.
